About Us

Shedding Oaks Cattery is purpose built and comprises spacious indoor pens that all have light and airy outside runs. Cats are unable to see their neighbour which reduces stress since felines are prone to fight with other individuals that they are unfamiliar with. The cattery is centrally heated and heat pads are included in each bed in order to maintain a comfortable warm environment for each cat. Food and water bowls are provided along with a wide selection of toys.

Beds and bedding can also be provided, but we find the cats settle better if some bedding or something with a familiar smell (e.g. an unwashed jumper, blanket or towel) is brought along with the cat. As such, should you wish to bring you own bed, bedding, scratch post and toys, then please do so.

We encourage new customers to come and look around the premises either during opening hours or at other times by prior arrangement, so that we can discuss the individual requirements of your cat.
